Wines 2005 Petite Sirah Port - Clusters of late harvested old vine Petite Sirah gems are the backbone of this Vintage Port. The other main component is ultra premium brandy, hand distilled by the master Hubert Germain-Robin. The result of marrying these two liquid gems together at just the right time during fermentation has produced an unctuous, inky, ultra ripe, opulent port with intense black fruit flavors and super rich velvety tannins. The mouthfeel is heavenly and the finish of the wine lasts for over 60 seconds as it slowly melts away. Although still aging in barrel, we are offering futures now. Anticipated release is in the fall of 2007. (74 cases will be produced) |
